Big blue at Transit?

PBO made a comment on the latest Police Wrap which I thought we could explore more:

I notice that there is still not much being said about bloodbath at transit bar that left a guy in a coma after someone jumped from the top of a flight of stairs onto their head. I did notice something in the Canberra times saying that nothing had happened and no police or military police were called to the incident that did not happen involving up to fifty people, some of whom were not in the army rugby team. The injured person was apparently “assessed” at the scene and no one is apparently making a complaint. Does anyone know anymore? Or am i going to have to find one of the youtube clips of the incident?

Anyone heard more?

UPDATED: The Canberra Times is now reporting that Defence is investigating and there was some sort of sporting involvement.

Wasn’t a comment made to the effect that the winning team didn’t deserve the tophy?

The incident did indeed comprise a defence component. The bloke who was stomped on’s head had managed to shatter one of the panes of shatterproof glass near the stairwell. It still had his blood on it when it was being repaired by the glazier the following lunchtime.

Damn it, now i cant find it. But i was referring to the article in the Saturday Canberra times. There is no link to this either but it was on page 5.

Or am i going to have to find one of the youtube clips of the incident?

Without reading the link yet (and therefore having no idea what that rant is about), I vote yes.
