The all seeing eye was surprised to find a news story on Canberra Industries doubling up it’s workforce at Oak Ridge in the United States.
History buffs will of course recall that Oak Ridge is the facility which produced a large proportion of the world’s nuclear weapons including the “Fat Man” bomb which devastated Nagasaki.
It turns out they hold the domain www.canberra.com and offer “Measurement Solutions for Nuclear Safety and Security”.
Does anyone know how this mob came to bear the name of our city?
