Yes, it does. Doesn’t mean we can’t talk about it, though.
35 degrees is a big deal after we watched the test cricket [on TV] in Perth with 3 consecutive days hovering around 40!!!! Get over yourselves and fill up a cheap pool or bathtub, jump in and chill out.

Probably got something to do with the axial tilt of the planet.
Apologies. I was only partially right.
Phew.

What? You mean it gets hot during summer and it’s not a new phenomenon caused by climate change?

What do you think I am, a pervert?…I have no photos of global warming.
Meanwhile at Coolemon Court – the car park bitumen melted. Many customers delighted to find diversions from their Christmas shopping frenzies to visit the Centre management and ask Santa for new shoes, to replace the ones now covered in tar. Santa’s 14 trucks of road base visited each corner of the car park to cover the molten mess. Oh, the fun there will be this summer …

In other words Adelaide’s cool change had come in and this was taken in the afternoon sometime. It was 35C in Adelaide when I was checking the weather at 9/9:30am while in Canberra it was 25/26 or so. Looking at the areas it looks like Adelaide got to 39.9C. Once when I was living in Adelaide it was 37C at lunch time, 2 hours later it was 19C. Mind you there was also that summer where it was mostly 25-30C in Adelaide while it Canberra it seemed to be constatly 38C. One thing I like about Canberra is that in summer it tends to cool down over night…
Could be worse, could be Hobart!
