Most of what facts are wrong? I don’t really feel the need or think it’s appropriate to elaborate on the circumstances of the accident in this type of forum. I haven’t said the driver was not at fault and I haven’t said he won’t be charged. I think it’s unfair to assume the driver was driving like a maniac and didn’t give a toss about his partner and their unborn child (not to mention suggesting drugs were involved) when you clearly don’t know what happened.

As for the drugs reference – someone asked if there was any truth to the rumour going around. Not accusing them of being on drugs.

All we have asked is how the accident happened, as you clearly know the answer to that question. And paraphrasing “we clearly don’t know what happened”

In my opinion – If my half deaf mother who lives half a KM away from the intersection could here the crash over the TV (which is always way too loud) then speed was def a factor or someone failed to give way.

Well that’s a sad turn of events.

The smash could be heard several streets away… I’m assuming the young guy ran a red light or was at speed to cause that much noise.. He’s also lucky the 71 year old didn’t have a heart attack or have any injuries.
