Competition for the 2012 Canberra Christmas single from Finnigan and Brother

Following Babyfreeze’s unexpectedly catchy contribution to the Christmas Single genre out of the local original music scene we have a second entrant.

Finnigan and Brother have put the above entry onto Bandcamp with this note:

Composed in Medellin, Colombia, in celebration of that drowsy figure of American folklore, Papa Noel. We’re pleased to share it with you now, in anticipation of that holiest of days in the Christian calendar.

Fun trivia – when our man Andres Monzon was helping us with the Spanish, he drew a blank when it came to the Spanish for ‘christmas elf’. The best we were able to do was ‘Duendesitos’ which means ‘little goblin’. So now you know.
