Another week has just flown by, there’s a lot to see and do in Canberra this weekend.

Another week has just flown by, there’s a lot to see and do in Canberra this weekend.

Monday Nights:
Poker at the Eagle Hawk Hotel/Pub. Game kicks off at 7pm. (Rego from about 6.30pm)
$10 Buy in with $10 Rebuys for the first half hour, with an optional $5 top up.
Fun and friendly game and we could always do with some more players !!
This year’s White Ribbon Day celebrations include a community BBQ at Weston Park this Sunday 23 November from 12 noon til 3 pm. All welcome, and men and boys are asked to wear white T-shirt for an aerial photograph of a living white ribbon which will be taken from a helicopter at around 1 pm!
White Ribbon Day is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Anyone know where abouts the Trackside buses are picking people up in Belconnen?
Doesnt seem to be much info about them!

On Friday night, of course, the Jester Ball at Albert Hall.
And they’ll have to do a good job cleaning up because on Saturday in the same venue is the inaugural Handmade Market.
After all that excitement, Sunday might call for a long sleep in…
Bonsai show at Botanic gardens this weekend (Sat and Sun I think)
Raiders winger Joel Monaghan will be donning the green and gold jersey in the Rugby League World Cup final on saturday night. Carn Raide… I mean Carn Aussies!
No Computer Fair this weekend. Back on at EPIC next Saturday (29th).

Mountain View Aged Care will holds its annual fete this year with a difference – it will be held at Twilight. Come and enjoy this lovely time of evening, visit the fabulous food stalls for dinner, enjoy the entertainment and the many market stall such as Jewellery, Craft, Scrapbooking, Soy Candles, Folk Art, Ceramics, Homemade Preserves and fun activities for the kids.

Christmas Fete
Canberra Seniors Centre is holding a Christmas Fete. Stalls include books, plants, crafts, cakes, Trash and Treasure, Kids Lucky dips and sale of hand painted porcelain. For breakfast there’s bacon and egg rolls and for lunch there’s many delicious dishes for adults and children. We will have Christmas gifts and Christmas cakes for sale.
