Apparently we’re supposed to wear our pyjamas and/or smoking jackets and bringing cushions and doonas.

Perhaps heading to the snow in Corin Forest and such places may be on, this weekend, according to tonight’s news….

A prequel to the 2008 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.. a public display to entice us all to attend the real thing 🙂 Staged on a 500m urban styly criterium, with riding completing up to six laps.

Time: Racing will commence at 5.30pm (Entertainment starts from 5pm)

Should be a good evening for those who enjoy riding mountain bikes or are interested to see what mountain biking is all about. Will be very family friendly so a good excuse to bring the brood.

For those interested the Canberra Fun Run is coming up on Sunday 14 September, however they won’t be taking registrations on the day this year. Registrations close Friday 22 August, so anyone wanting to get their name and time recorded, will have to register online here. You’ve got the choice of 5km Bridge to Bridge, or the normal 10km now going past the new wind art. The staffy and I will be doing the Bridge to Bridge.
