Join the Friends of the Library, Library exhibition curator Dr Karen Schamberger, and Library conservator Caroline Milne, for a discussion about the 2025 Treasures Gallery refresh.

Karen and Caroline will discuss the challenges in selecting materials for the Treasures exhibition, both from a curatorial and conservation perspective.

They will discuss object selection considerations and the role that conservation plays in considering display requirements, with a particular focus on the Freda Thompson aviation material.

After the discussion, Karen and Caroline will join attendees for morning tea.

Tickets cost $18 for Friends of the Library members and $22 for general admission. Please book your tickets via the National Library website.
