Get ready, Canberra! National Science Week is back and bursting with fun ways to explore the world of science and technology.
From 9 – 17 August, they’re serving up a stellar lineup of in-person and online events, virtual tours, DIY science, and so much more, right across the ACT.
Whether you’re a science nerd, a curious kid, or just love learning something new, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.
Science in the Centres
We’re teaming up with local shopping centres to bring you science while you shop across two weekends, including Canberra Centre, Westfield Belconnen, Westfield Woden, Cooleman Court, South Point, Marketplace Gungahlin, and Majura Park.
Mix up your weekend shopping with a side of science! Come say hi to stallholders and get hands-on with experiments, demos, and activities.
