I’m sorry Brett couldn’t deliver your furniture on time. Yes, it was our Warehouse full of toys ready to go into our local, family operated business (Toys Warehouse not Toy World). As we haven’t been doing well Brett has also taken on doing interstate and local freight, and unfortunately there was furniture and heaps more stored in there. We didn’t have any insurance on anything in the storage warehouse, and as such this has been very hard on us. At first they thought we may have something to do with the fire, but since have changed their minds. As yet, we still haven’t had any word on what did or didn’t cause the fire. The house was repossessed, I don’t suppose anything else can happen. However, we are keeping our heads up and are going to start off again. I hope you ended up getting you furniture OK.

Because if you are referring to Pellegrinos, then you’re way off base. I regularly have breakfast there, and it is regularly filled with all types including tradies.

The proprietors of Pellegrinos obviously did their market research. Fyshwick is now full of lots of white-collar workers, including various Defence and other technology organisations.

The fact they’re also capturing some of the blue-collar market is undoubtedly a bonus for them.

Shame that poncey cafe didn’t get burnt to ash. It has no right to be in Fyshwick. Sh*t, I can just see all the mechanic’s sipping chocca-chino’s with some fancy-pants $13 slice of cake or something. The Nivea for Men warehouse will be going up shortly …Hang on, what was I supposed to be talking about !?

Drove past this morning. It’s not the actual Toy Warehouse store, but another shop in the same court that they must have been using for storage. The court is the one with Regency Blinds at the front, and Water Plus and I&J Signs up the back.

not sure if it’s the same family all the way through. If I had $40 to spare, I’d get a company check report done by Dunn & Bradstreet. No kidding, I’ve done that before for a couple of local businesses. A certain furniture store, you could buy it for $500! if you pay only what the owners shares are worth.

If it’s Toy Warehouse then that family lost absolutley everything in the Duffy fires 2003. Poor things.
