7:30pm Friday 7 January 2011 – Small kitchen fire at Red Hill unit ACT Fire Brigade on scene of a small kitchen fire on the stove of a unit on Discovery Street, Red Hill.
Fire has been extinguished with minimal fire damage.
Three people safely self evacuated.
Some smoke damage and two ACT Fire Brigade pumpers currently ventilating.
The Hazmat unit will shortly carry out atmospheric monitoring to ensure unit is safe before people return back inside.
