Yep, I just called them. They have some fresh ones in now, so I’ll go get some today. But by ‘whole’ rabbits, the vet meant with organs and all. Which is going to be bloody hard to find unless I go hunting myself!

She specialises in cats and clearly had a passion for them. She followed a very methodical, empirical strategy to come to a diagnosis and treatment/management plan. The bill was steep (was there for about an hour, 3 injections, 100 pills to take away and a skin scrape done) but for once I barely spent a thought on it because it was worth every cent. I had seen 5 different vets about this issue before (not deliberately, but I moved around a bit in the past year and often needed last minute appointments) and she was the first one who made me feel confident that we will be able to resolve the cat’s issues eventually.

PS: She also didn’t recommend their ridiculously expensive prescription cat food but instead advised me to feed raw meat, which made my respect for her rise several levels. (Now if anyone knows where to source whole rabbits…)

Is the Vet practice in Braddon still operating? Does Peter Burgess still own the practice, I know he’s just doing the kennels.
