Hamburglar costuming fail at Westfield Woden Maccas

I must admit my involvement in a similar caper back in my university days. It ended up being the biggest bun fight ever!

Just bizarre. But also as a result of that, likely to be solved fairly quickly.

It’s not really an ‘obvious’ option.
-Westfield Woden is hardly close to civic and the buses don’t run that late. Sure they could have caught a cab or driven drunk, but we’re getting to the point where it’s no longer such a simple thing as noticing an unlocked door while walking around – why would they be there in the first place? Why would you go to Woden, from civic, at 1am or so when civic is still in full swing?
-They aren’t dressed for civic.
-They *are* dressed as though they might be catering/functions staff

An alternative to Johnboy’s theory would be that a couple of employees at one of the nearby clubs(Hellenic, Southern Cross, ect) had a few too many drinks after they finished their shift, then went skylarking.

Macca’s Weston may well be devastated by the theft at Macca’s Woden, but I don’t think there’s much chance that it would put them THAT far off their game…

Nah these guys are stealing through and through, look how they’re sticking their heads around the corner to see if anyone’s coming. Possibly ex-employees?

I really hope McDonalds Weston can recover from this heist. It’d be sad to see them go out of business.

Yep, looking at the outfits, i’d be getting a list of the weddings, 21sts, 18ths, and other functions on that night…..
