Police are searching for a woman who went missing two days ago after she may have been involved in a car crash in Canberra.

Stephanie Wills, 51, has not been seen or heard from since 6:30 pm on Monday (20 October) and was last seen in Braddon, an ACT Policing spokesperson said.

“Police believe she was the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision on Northbourne Avenue and Girrahween Street on Monday evening, but she left the scene before police arrived,” the spokesperson alleged.

Ms Wills is described as being Caucasian in appearance with a medium build, fair complexion, long blonde hair and has one hand amputated.

“She was last seen wearing a long floral-patterned dress and was barefoot. She does not have access to a vehicle and is believed to be on foot,” the police spokesperson said.

“Police and Stephanie’s family hold concerns for her welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance to locate her.”

If you have seen Ms Wills or have any information on her whereabouts, call ACT Policing on 131 444.
