I think it looks nice, it just needs a few more plants to “fill out” the place a little more.
Got to agree with Ray Polglaze. I would hate to have to wait for the bus there in the rain.

It’s a symbolic burial cairn for cheap electricity…
It looks barren and wet to me in the photos. Not the place to wait for buses if it’s raining, or if there is a cold wind.
I don’t understand why it isn’t covered and sheltered. It would need to be to encourage people to use buses.
I’d like to see the red bridge redressed and updated – instead of being abit silly looking – its still handy for the DIAC stuff heading to lunch.

Excellent work. The red bridge is not long for this world. The ACT Government wants to keep it, but Westfield and the company that own the Immigration building want it gone. It is very heavily used particularly during the daytime, but the people arent going where westfield want them (into the new shops). No date for the bridge removal has been provided.
Dunno Damien, they’ve already moved it at great difficulty and expense already this year. Can’t see them doing that if they’re getting rid of it.
I went there yesterday and found the place sort of barren and dull. I do like the blue bits and wish they had gone with that colour all the way along but I guess I’m used to masses of grey in Belconnen.
