After a few good games at home the SMH informs us that the Raiders have been spanked in Newcastle.
Going down 23-4 to a depleted Knights is not a good look.

well I thought the Raiders played quite well. There is no disgrace in losing to that team up there in front of their home town support.

Back down where they belong
That’s a bit harsh. There’s no way they’re as bad as the Roosters.

And the Raiders weren’t depleted?
x2
I’d say the loss of our two best forwards (Shillington and Leroyd-Lahrs, playing State of Origin) and Justin Carney would also count as being “depleted”. But don’t let that get in the way of your sinking the boot in.
It’s also amusing that some of you hacks blasting the Raiders here are posting messages of support for Mark Webber in another thread. What has he achieved lately?
Its a game the Raiders could have won, but for the amazing defence the Knights put on and the wiley old mad dog playing a blinder. The Raiders could have improved their kicking game rather than just kicking to the opponent, but otherwise until the about the 65th minute it always looked like the could have run the Knights down. The atmosphere at the ground was awesome.
Raiders were dire last night. Knights had about 6 attacking chances, scored 4 tries, Raiders about 50 chances, scored once.
