Police have extradited a 52-year-old man from an NSW correctional facility to face the ACT Magistrates Court on charges of attempted murder and aggravated robbery.
On 7 January, two men armed with firearms allegedly robbed a Fyshwick business. During the incident, the 52-year-old man allegedly attempted to discharge a firearm at the business owner, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
The vehicle was located a short time later in Kambah, and a subsequent search located two firearms and other evidence.
On 8 February, ACT Policing arrested and charged a 24-year-old man for his involvement in the aggravated robbery.
On 18 January 2019, NSW Police arrested the 52-year-old man in Tumut, NSW on separate offences.
He has been released into ACT Policing custody and will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court this afternoon (17 July).
