There’s is always a whinger …… how bout “well done plod on getting another filthy prospective burglar off the streets.” No, instead there has to be SOMETHING to whine about !!!!

I would suggest that even if Police didn’t charge him with it, but have it in the statement of facts, would highlight to the magistrate or the public how Police suspicions were raised, due to him stating a false name. This would add supporting evidence to the alleged dishonest conduct of that person.
