Surprising the photog and sub-editor missed being taken for a ride like that.

Apart from the fact they look nothing alike, Jason Roses is a real estate agent for LJ Hooker.
Just a (bad) guess. But they do look alike.

Could Mike Litoris be Jason Roses, on page 12 of the CityNews’s March 5-11 issue? In the that photo, Jason was also standing with Moj Nozhat, just like Mike is.

I’ve heard of a woman who used to work for Telstra called Amanda Dack. Actually, not only heard of her, but met her. And resisted he temptation to ask “is your name really…”
Cruel cruel parents.
I knew of a guy with the surname ‘Imhoff’, which resulted in getting the nickname ‘Jack’…
I used to know 2 bothers in the Navy abot a decade ago… Rank of Seaman, Surname of Stain.

You’re right, my friend works with her. Lovely lady.
The best one I ever worked with was Honey Seamen. Dead set. And to top it off, she had a sister named Candy! Apparently her mum loved that song – “Honey ….. oh sugar sugar, you are my candy girrrrrrrl’.
When most people told her that if they were her, they’d change their name, she just replied with ‘I’m proud of it – why should I care what people think’. Fair enough too. But come on …. where was her dad when the bebbies were named?!
There used to be a bloke in the RAAF called Overend. I don’t know what his nick name was but I sincerely hope that it was “Arse”…
Also worked with a radio tech called Morse.

I’m Jules Zanetti, and in the photo, if anyone is wondering.
Last night I went to a TAFE graduation ceremony at the AIS for a friend. To my amusement, (I kid you not) a girl with the surname of Welfare got her Diploma in Community Services, and a girl with the surname of Pain got a nursing qualification 🙂

Had a friend in high school by the name of Saif. Sadly (and ironically), the heavily used slogan Everyone has the right to feel safe at school resulted in a lot of unwanted sexual harassment when people took it literally.

There’s also a Michael Hunt who bowls at Tuggeranong AMF on Wednesday nights. I’m still waiting for him to be paged as Mike.
“Is Mike Hunt in the parking lot!?”

I know Michael personally, that is his actual name.
Interesting that a search of white pages across Australia and a surname search engine did not come up with a single example of a real Litoris. Or did your ‘friend’ assume the name, having been born under something else?
He does go my Michael, but he goes by Mike in situations like this, as it’s funny. He’s a pretty funny guy.
I thought those two guys were Neil and Bob, or maybe that’s just what they do.
And I’m surprised that no-one has mentioned Ben Dover.
Bob Downe?
