Beautifully designed for modern living with a timeless aesthetic, The Menzies in Curtin is an exciting development already underway.

Offering eight spacious townhouses, each with four bedrooms, living areas both downstairs and upstairs, as well as a study and private internal courtyards, The Menzies development challenges the notion that townhouses aren’t big enough for families.

“They are really very large for townhouses. There’s easily enough room for an established family to spread out, both indoors and outdoors,” Cream Residential agent Chris Wilson says.

“Residents will have all the benefits of a detached property’s space while having far less to manage, and the body corporate fees will be far lower, significantly less than the average townhouse too, due to the quality of materials used in the build.”

In addition, each townhouse will have an internally accessed double garage with electric car chargers. For extra convenience, four of the townhouses will feature internal lifts.

The design is nothing short of stunning. Designed by the award-winning architecture firm DNA Architects, with an interior designed by Viceroy Studios, The Menzies is both functional and beautiful.

“The architects are really very well-renowned. They’ve built stunning properties all across Canberra, and they’ve knocked it out of the park here,” Chris says.

“They’ve also made some bold choices, like using the first Australian-made carbon-neutral bricks. It’s a very sustainable home.”

Bursting with entertaining potential, The Menzies townhouses will feature modern kitchens with integrated fridges, high-end appliances, ample storage and a walk-in pantry.

The design for the private front courtyard features a landscaped garden, a built-in barbecue, and built-in seating, allowing drinks with friends to easily move out into the garden.

There is also an internal atrium courtyard, providing additional outdoor space and extra natural lighting to the interior.

“The builder has gone to great lengths to create a truly special place to live, with a seamless indoor-outdoor flow,” Chris says.

The bedrooms will be private and quiet, yet still feel bright and warm due to the large windows that bring the outside in, while the main bedrooms will include ensuites and large walk-in robes.

Located on a central street in Curtin, just a 15-minute drive from the city, The Menzies holds one of the best spots in its area.

“The location here is a real asset. Residents will have great access to the city, Woden and Stromlo, while the nearby Curtin Shops are undergoing a revamp, with gyms, cafes, and restaurants just across the road,” Chris says.

“And there are plenty of good schools in the area, too.”

The Menzies strikes a rare balance between centrality and quiet, being close to all the best of Canberra.

“It’s in a prime position, and inside, the home will feel calm and quiet thanks to double glazing throughout, and even triple glazing in some areas,” Chris says.

A great location, beautiful design and modern, convenient amenities come together perfectly in The Menzies, breaking the mould of what people expect of townhouses.
