Philo shuts down costume hire

The ABC reports that the Canberra Philharmonic Society has decided to shut down its costume hire business citing turnover of key staff and unproifatbility.

Is this going to be a big deal for our theatrical types?

From info recently – their costume hire has re-opened for other theatre groups, they’ve just shut down access for people who wanted a wacky outfit for the weekend.

So, nope, it don’t mean much for the theatre-types. It probably didn’t at the time, either.
