We went for a walk for the first time in ages last night and yeah, couldn’t believe how many kids were out trick or treating. Aside from the “American tradition” thing, I thought it was great to see that many people out. I’m starting to really like the place, except for the numerous people that don’t mow their nature strip!

I do too. It’s really nice and quiet. Lots of nice families and kids. Heaps were dressed up ‘trick or treating’ yesterday. I was a bit skeptical of the suburb thing but am rethinking it all. Sure the roads are way too thin – and they could use some local shops. But outside of that it’s a nice a suburb as Ive seen or lived in.

I used to live in Harrison before I moved to another Gungahlin suburb. It’s a quiet area and a nice place to live. I think it’s nice to have an area that looks a bit different compared to the generic looking suburbs you find in Belconnen.

Really… I’m happy for you to have your opinion, but I live on a +500sqm block in gunghalin, with a huge back yard, lovely front yard and plenty of green spaces around the neighborhood – heck, they are even making some “Tea Gardens” between our part of the suburb and the next… I sit in my back yard and can hear the frog song from the pons 500m down the road.. Of course, I dont expect you to believe me, because youre evidently on a gunghalin basing bandwagon but it aint all that bad here son… I’m happy for you to reappraise your opinion over some homebrews on my deck at dusk, cool breeze and the distant frog song from down the road… Life aint as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I dunno, the way kids are behaving these days a view of Bimberri from their bedroom window might not be a bad thing.

My understanding was this site was for a small local shopping centre, but no, they will turn it into more overpriced 2 bedroom crap.
