ACT Policing and Worksafe ACT have launched an investigating following the death of a 47-year-old man at a construction site in Denman Prospect on Saturday, 11 January.

The incident occurred around 11:20 am, at the intersection of Freebury Street and Ada Norris Street. ACT Police and ACT Ambulance Service Paramedics attended and despite their efforts, a 47-year-old man died at the scene.

Reports indicate a pallet of tiles fell on the man.

“WorkSafe ACT’s thoughts are with the worker’s family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time,” a spokesman said in a statement.
