Police are calling for information as they investigate allegations of sexual abuse said to have been committed by a youth support worker more than two decades ago.
It has been alleged to police that a male community service worker employed by the Ted Noffs Foundation in Watson allegedly committed sexual offences against a teenager between 2002 and 2003.
“Anyone with any information regarding this man is urged to come forward,” an ACT Policing spokesperson said.
“ACT Policing has dedicated and specialist sexual assault investigators who guide victims through the investigative process.
“Victims are also provided with specialist assistance from support agencies, including Victim Support ACT and the Canberra Rape Crisis Centre.”

The Ted Noffs Foundation describes itself as Australia’s largest provider of drug treatment for youths.
It provides residential and non-residential rehabilitation programs to help young people between 12 and 25 address drug, alcohol, crime and mental health-related issues.
