Police seek public assistance in locating missing woman

UPDATE (13 November, 3:04 pm): Emma Saunders has been located safe and well. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate a Canberra woman who has been missing since Saturday.

Police said Emma Saunders was last seen on Saturday afternoon in Wanniassa and was believed to have been in the Turner and Belconnen areas later that day.

She is described as 30 years old, about 185cm tall, of medium build and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander appearance, with brown eyes and black, shoulder-length hair.

Emma was last seen wearing colourful leggings with a rainbow pattern, a blue or red top, older style red and black Nike Airmax shoes and carrying a large cream-coloured handbag.

Police and Emma’s family have concerns for her wellbeing and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 quoting reference 6186951.
