1. Missing Garranite:

ACT Policing is asking the Canberra public to help locate a missing 46-year-old woman who went missing from her Garran home on April 6 around midday.

The missing woman is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’5” (170cms) tall, with a medium build, fair complexion, light brown shoulder-length hair and walks with a distinctive limp. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeve black and red checked shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Police are concerned for the woman’s welfare as she is an insulin dependant diabetic and can potentially fall into a coma if she does not receive her medication.

Anyone who may sight the missing woman is urged to contact ACT Policing on 131444 immediately.

That’s the oldest trick in the book.

I saw a couple of SES vehicles here at about 5pm yesterday, I assume part of the same search.

ABC says they are still looking

Tonight there was a helicopter flying over Mount Taylor ridge, apparently looking for this women. It went backwards & forwards for around 45-60 minutes. It also occasionally flew over Kambah & Torrens.
