Red Hill gas leak

ACT Fire & Rescue are currently on scene on Astrolabe Street, Red Hill working to isolate a gas leak outside the French Australian Pre-School.

Approximately 63 people from the pre-school are being evacuated as a precaution whilst crews repair the gas line.

Two fire pumpers on scene, the Hazardous Materials Unit and a Command Officer.

Leak caused by workmen with a digger in the area and has now been isolated.

Staff and students will be allowed to return to area shortly.
