Dog of the Week: Skyla

Skyla is currently in foster care, where she has demonstrated what a wonderful companion she can be. After five months with her foster carers, it is clear that Skyla is a fun and funny dog with loads of personality. She loves being close to her people and will happily keep tabs on where you are, making her an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion.

Skyla has a soft spot for toys and is rarely seen without one nearby. She loves carrying them around the house and often takes one to bed with her. One of her most charming habits is greeting visitors or her foster carers with a shoe in her mouth. She does not chew them; she simply carries them proudly and even has a special pair just for this purpose.

She enjoys car rides, walks well on lead, and is generally calm and polite when other dogs approach her. Skyla prefers being an inside dog but enjoys occasional zoomies in the yard.

Skyla requires ongoing allergy care. Her foster carers adore having her in their home. She is still in foster care, so meet-and-greets are by arrangement. If you would like to meet Skyla, please call 02 6287 8100.

Cat of the Week: Scooby

Scooby is a young, handsome boy with a stunning, fluffy grey coat and the sweetest nature. He can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he feels safe and gains confidence, his loving personality truly shines.

Scooby is full of affection and would thrive in a quieter home where he can settle in at his own pace and blossom. He would be well-suited to a family who understands that patience and kindness will be rewarded with a deeply loving companion.

He would also be comfortable joining a home with an existing friendly cat, making him a lovely option for households looking to welcome another feline friend.

If you are looking for a gentle, loving cat who will reward your patience, Scooby could be the perfect match.
