Simcity Canberra

Here is my build of the Canberra City Centre in the new Simcity for PC.

It’s not a perfect representation due to the limitations of the game, but it’s essentially accurate. Let me know what you think and if you would like to play the map I’m sure there is a way to share it!

Great effort, I have the the latest simcity and can admire the effort gone into this.

Yeah i agree, especially the number of application crashes it would have taken. (admittedly better now)

Actually I’m an architecture masters graduate and my girlfriend is a fashion designer who recently featured at fashfest. It may explain the catalyst for using my time in this way.

Im a Pitchka, and i slash car tyres if they are parked out the front of my house, and torment kangaroos that have been hit by a car… I obtained my Yr12 Cert, and had no need for a HECS debt that would just end up getting me no more than a management role…… at my local Woolies…

Great work!

Im sure these apps will get to a point where you can actually plug in more real data and get a decent representation of how it would work in real life – or does sim4 pretty much do that now? (sorry, last simcity I played was….simcity 1!)

What the Hell? Have you actually driven in other decent sized cities? Canberra is, for the most part, gob smackingly fantastic to drive around in. The roads generally flow well, the average speed is good, the roads are fairly good quality, there’s a plethora of on-road cycling facilities, road markings are good. Sure we have various issues, usually highlighted on RiotACT, but seriously????
