I was on my way home from the city today, and I headed down the Monaro Highway like I always do. About halfway down the highway just before the Gaol, the traffic came to a sudden halt and then resumed at a crawl. i wondered to myself what was making the traffic slow down so much. Was it a accident, breakdown or speed van? No, it was car pulled over on the side of the road with a guy getting something out of the boot. Every single car was slowing down and having a good gawk, before speeding off, causing traffic to back up. I was able to catch a look at this because the car in front of me almost came to stop in an effort to see what was going on. I have noticed this happen before as well, a car on the side of a road changing a flat can cause traffic chaos. Have any other rioters had similar experiences? Because for me it causes immense frustration and added an extra 15 minutes to my trip home.
