In very exciting news (well exciting for me because im such a huge fan) Punk Rock giants Unwritten Law are coming to Canberra on their next Australian tour. Its good to see such a big band on the Punk scene coming to Canberra, as most of the time I find myself having to travel to Sydney to see the big names in Punk. A long time ago all of these bands used to come to Canberra and play the ANU Bar, and once upon a time, various youth centres. But I digress. The show will be played at the Venue in Erindale on the 9th of August, tickets are going to be around $50, and most likely obtained through Moshtix. If you like your punk music and havent heard of Unwritten Law, I strongly urge you to pick up one of their cds, have a listen, and come along and rock out to a great punk band. If we sell out eh show, then hopefully more major international acts will follow suit, and add Canberra to their tour schedule.
