Definitely do not recommend Andrew Bell Electricians of Dickson – very very expensive and very slow. Try Michael Griffiths who is prepared to work weekends, is punctual, thorough and reasonably priced.

I highly recommend Woods Electrical Services 02 6278 4709, they cover all ACT. Gary is fantastic. He recently installed circuit breakers, safety switch and added a new power circuit. Honest, reliable and cleans up afterwards. Takes the time to explain what you need and also looks into any problems you have.

After the last major storm I found them on the web. He was ready to come out on an emergency call at 5pm. Lucky I fixed it before but came out next day on time for a quote. I phoned 5 other electricians just to check the quote. He was the only one who showed enthusiasm to do the work. Booked the work and he showed up again on time to do the job.

Morton Electrical Services – based in Torrens, very good service and reasonable pricing for
a new power point and a safety switch they put in for me about a year ago.

I have used a chap called Beven quite a few times now. Can’t recall his company name, but always endeavours to fit you in, turns up on time and doesn’t charge like a wounded bull. He helped us in wiring in a new beast of an oven, installing powerpoints and fitting a new cieling fan – all done southside.
