ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Charnwood last night (Saturday, 5 February).
Around 8.30pm a 28-year-old Dunlop man was walking back to his car, parked near the loading dock at Woolworths, when he felt something sharp stick into his back. He heard a male voice instruct him to hand over his possessions.
The victim gave his possessions to the offender, who ran west into a nearby reserve.
The offender is described as 173cm (5’8”) tall, wearing black tracksuit pants and a white hooded jumper.
Police ask anyone who was at the Charnwood shops at that time and may have seen someone matching the description to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
