The tree goes up

The star went up this morning. Not sure who did it, but there were a bunch of ppl standing around Civic Square watching.

If they are too tall, chop one down and then cut the top 6 feet off and use that, those bits make fine Xmas trees!

I usually drive along the road until I see a “weed” growing on the roadside, then do the civilly responsible thing and remove the non-native invasive tree species to a safe location. It would be pretty irresponsible to leave a Pinus radiata uncontrolled in a native Australian environment.

I heard the RSPCA is selling them this weekend.

I wonder if I can get them to come and put my tree up? I was planning to do it this week sometime.

Don’t worry GSG I am in denyal too – truly it isn’t only 25 days or 18 working days to Christmas, truly it isn’t!

Would hate to have to try and squeeze that one back into its box and squoosh it somewhere at the back of the wardrobe. A tad larger than your average domestic model.
