ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at Civic Video at the Wanniassa shops last night (Friday 25 February).
Around 9.15pm the male offender entered the store and demanded money. The staff member handed the offender a sum of money after which the offender left the store.
Following the incident, the offender was seen running past the Wanniassa Tavern. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, mid twenties with a slim build. He was wearing black sunglasses, black beanie, black hooded jumper, and black three quarter pants.
Police are seeking any witnesses who may have been in the area of the Wanniassa shops, particularly Civic Video or the Wanniassa Tavern on Friday evening around 9.15pm, who can assist in the investigation, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
