Police say a knife-wielding man was filmed robbing a bottle shop in Gungahlin and have released footage of the incident in an attempt to find witnesses.
He went into the Cellarbrations store on Ernest Cavanagh Street and threatened a staff member with a large kitchen knife at about 1 pm on Monday (26 May), an ACT Policing spokesperson said.
He then fled with cash and was last seen running along Gribble Street towards Bunnings Gungahlin, they added.
Police described the man as Caucasian in appearance with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark pants and a black beanie.
