Police are asking witnesses to come forward to help them catch several youths seen stealing $1500 worth of alcohol from a Canberra bottle shop.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said five youths, some wearing face coverings, went into the shop at the Chisholm Village shopping centre then stole alcohol before fleeing on 12 December 2025.
The incident was captured on security cameras and the footage has been released to the public.
“Several people were in the vicinity at the time and police would like to speak to them,” the police spokesperson said.
“Police would particularly like to speak to a woman who entered the store shortly after the incident as she may have information about the vehicle the youths fled in.”
The woman was described as being Caucasian in appearance with a fair complexion and medium-length brown hair. She was wearing a white shirt, dark pants, tan sandals and was carrying a brown cross-body handbag.
