So, I read this post saying where to watch the Socceroos games, but where can I go to watch the world cup final on Monday morning?
I see UC has their Refectory open.
Anywhere else?
Preferably with food and warmth!

You must tend to lead a sheltered life. Here are 76 ‘World Cups’..
There’s only one game that the entire world plays.
The rest of the World Cups include stuff like baseball and gridiron … WTF? Maybe we should have a ‘world cup’ of Aussie Rules.
There are around 60-70 countries playing American Football (Gridiron) in some form or another. Far more then I would imagine play or have even heard of Aussie Rules.
“If not for the number of European immigrant soccer fans in Aus, I have no doubt that ICC world cup and rugby world cup would attract much higher numbers, and at the very least Australia gets more than 3 game points (over 3 different games) in those two sports. 4 years of hype and theres not even 1 game or 1 goal, for each year we had to hear about how great they think their sport is.” (sorry not sure how to italicise quotes here)
At the risk of sounding terribly precious – aren’t European migrants Australian? And given that Rugby is only followed with any interest in 2 states and 1 territory of Australia its hardly overwhelmingly relevant.
And without relying on the blindingly obvious – the World Cup (there is only one which doesn’t need its sport listed) attracts viewers who are interested in international competition – not merely seeing Aussies kick ass.
Plus if goals scored indicated level of excitement and skill we’d all be much more interested in basketball and netball.

There is only one World Cup. Everything else is pretend. Though Rugby does get an honorable 2nd place for effort and the possibility of more than three countries winning.

That is both crazy and cool, at the same time. On the one hand, who’d pay 20 bucks to see what you can see at home, but on the other hand.. live events in 3D on the silver-screen… the potential is almost unlimited.
