But more to the point, this isn’t surprising. CT may say it wasn’t disclosed, but I’d be more interested in how they got this person’s name; friend of a friend, a link in a Labor media release?

When you Google search the names of a lot of people featured in stories, it’s amazing how often you see they’re not just Joe Six Pack from the suburbs but have some stake in the issue that isn’t disclosed.

On an aside, you have to forgive the CT these days. In my experience, they have very little to work with and push stuff out without the proper processes and quality control.

Good to see that the Times has its finger firmly planted on the pulse…….. – although, in a vast, diverse, dynamic metropolis such as Canberra, where incestuous connections are absolutely unheard of, they could be forgiven for not looking more closely.

I think the best that can be hoped for by those of us who are not property speculators or house-hoppers is that changes to federal taxation and funding arrangements for the States and Territories will go a long way towards dealing with the revenue problem before the full horror of Mr Barr’s “reforms” take effect.
