Just wondering if anyone knows which pubs/clubs in the Woden district are playing the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight this Sunday?

i guess by mayweather vs manny you meant how a rabbit got scared and was running all around ring while when he was getting taken down, he used to just come up to hug manny to say ‘ forgive me’ .

Sure – just let me set up a subscription to foxtel at $45.00 a month which includes a $200 set up fee, then pay $60.00 for access to Main Event for the privilege… OR I could go down to the pub, and enjoy the screening at the cost of a couple of beers. I could even splash out on three beers and a cab and still be well in front.
You’re too late. Even if you ordered foxtel today, they wont have it installed by Sunday. Sorry.
BTW basic foxtel is $25 a month and a simple phone call to foxtel usually gets you free install.
Ha – all good. I will never sign up to foxtel. I haven’t watched TV in a long time.
I’m not even going to watch the boxing match. Not my thing. Make love, not war etc etc.
According to the Hellenic Club’s Facebook page, they’re showing it live 🙂

And after you do that, Mayweather is likely to make another ridiculous excuse and refuse to fight anyway. I’m still expecting it. Last time it was “Ancient Filipino jungle steroids that can’t be detected”. Waiting for claims of alien control this time.

One would assume that Montana is assuming that the person like a lot of people (not me btw), has Foxtel. Most people unfortunately these days are assumed to be those who can’t survive without a thousand tv channels at their fingertips.
All I have heard about this fight is the amounts of money involved which quite frankly is disappointing. Hope they all come out of it still able to make use of it. Expect it will be a non-event and that the razzamatazz of the show will be more interesting.

Too many goons attend the pubs at these fights.
just watch it at home via foxtel main event.
I would have thought we have witnessed enough violence through the media lately.
Hey Lonewolf, The Dock at Kingston Foreshore and Zierholz at UC are both screening the fight (it’s in our what’s on this weekend guide: http://region.com.au/whats-on-this-weekend-2nd-and-3rd-may-2015/146387).
Not sure about pubs/clubs in the Woden area though. Any suggestions?
