ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Kippax Shopping Centre last night (Thursday, 10 March).
Around 11.00pm a female offender entered the Woolworths supermarket at the Kippax Shopping Centre in Holt. The female offender approached the cigarette counter and asked for a packet of cigarettes. After the service attendant placed the cigarettes on the counter, the female offender produced a knife and bag and told the attendant to put the till in the bag. The attendant refused and the female offender left the store with the packet of cigarettes.
The female offender is described as Caucasian, aged between 20 and 30- years-old, approximately 5’7” tall with a slim build. She was wearing blue jeans and a hooded top.
The female offender was seen getting into a silver magna shortly after the incident.
Anyone who was in the area of the Kippax shops and may have witnessed the incident or who saw a person matching the description are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
