ACT Policing arrested a 22-year-old man after a robbery in Dickson last night (Sunday, 24 February).
About 9.45pm the alleged offender approached the counter of the Coles Express Service Station, Dickson requesting cash.
He became aggressive towards the attendant who subsequently called police.
Police will allege that the offender took an item before leaving the service station.
Around 11pm police attended a residence in Lyneham where they arrested the alleged offender.
The alleged offender was conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with theft and attempted robbery. He will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
