A man has been charged with sexual assault following an incident at Jindabyne last week.
Last Thursday, a 19-year-old woman contacted police to report she had been sexually assaulted the previous evening.
Police were informed the woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in a motel room.
Following an investigation, police attached to Monaro Local Area Command arrested an 18-year-old man.
He was charged with sexual assault and refused bail. He will appear in Queanbeyan Local Court today.
