Nice photo indeed.
PB has this been altered to increase the apparent size of the moon though? I only ask as photos I have taken of the full moon are usually disappointing.
according to Bill Bryson,(A brief history of nearly everything) the size of the moon is always the same, it just looks bigger early in the evening, some kind of optical illusion, maybe this is why your photos are disapointing ?????
Again, my thanks to all who have commented.

Andy, while the image has been post processed in photoshop to enhance it, no distortion has been used (I never do use that.)
The best way to catch the moon is low on the horizon, with a relatively slow shutter speed (1/125) and the best aperture you can get for this speed, always use a bulb and tripod too..
This was taken with a 300 mm Tamron lens at full extension.
Nice photo indeed.
