The ACT Fire Brigade on scene at a house fire in Herbert Street Ainslie.
Three fire pumpers are in attendance.
Firefighters have contained the fire and are now working to extinguish it.
Intensive care paramedics are treating one female patient on scene with burns.

Update – Firefighters have extinguished the fire which is believed to have started in the lounge room at the front of the property then spread to two adjoining rooms and the roof.
Fire crews are now checking the roof space for any hot spots which may ignite another fire.
The ACT Ambulance Service has rushed one female patient to the Canberra Hospital in a serious condition with extensive burns.
A cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
