Well I _had_ wondered why there was a water police station on Lake Gin (the previous theory was to counter the massive amounts of cross-lake drug smuggling from Evatt to Belconnen) – I guess it’s to protect us from the hordes of second world war submarines still lurking in the murky depths.
i was going to make comments about te vertical lines.. but then someone nicely pointed out for me that they are the radio thiniggys
Thumper: Bit early in the day to be hitting the scotch, isn’t it?
Also, nice photo.
I’d be very impressed if you could get the sun to set in that direction
August? Morning?…frosty?…brrrr
Nice colours…and a fitting one given what’s happened to the masts (if only the sun was setting, not rising)
That’s beautiful!
And I think the thing in the foreground is the Loch Ginninderra Monster, or as we call her, Ginnie. Och Ey Da Noo!
Those naval masts are no longer as well.
Top shot.
The lens flare off the sun looks very nikon-esque
