Maelinar has spoken to Mrs Thumper and found out that Mr Thumper particularly likes Ginger Beer to the extent that you’ll probably want to move into the spare bedroom over summer…

Just use a fan – you don’t need an air conditioner when you already have dry air. You don’t get sweaty as long as the air moves a bit.
Now in SE Qld when you have that temp for 5 days running including nothing below 28 at night, and near 100% humidity at the same time – now that fun – NOT!

Coopers Pale Ale, using the Pale Ale booster pack

I have a penchant for Pale Ales, although I’m not paticularly keen on Coopers Green Label commercial as it generally gives me a humdinger of a hangover.

Perhaps you could sit in your fridge and drink it Maelinar. What sort of drop is it anyway? A refreshing pilnser or summer ale?

Heat is the stuff of life. Live it up.

When I used take summer holiday time, my big favourite was packing a cardie, some trash reading and taking the kids down to the ice skating rink.

It is quite nippy in there.

Start work at 0700 – so if you walk in (like me) its cooler.

Walking back to your car in 36 degrees is a non issue as I dont mind getting sweaty if its only home I am going to – and the air con in teh falcodore is a godsend.

Today however – I am in melbourne – I plan on going underground and taking photos – and in the process – lowering the ambient temperaure quite considerably

I won’t drink the ENTIRE 30 litres tonight, although Mrs Maelinar might hit me on the head with a frypan if I try…

Maelinars home brew comes online after work tonight. The keg is gassed, 30 litres of home brew goodness straight from the tap attached to the outside of my fridge.
