Who’d want to ride in a car when they can stand in the tall, wet grass on a cold winter’s morning waiting for a bus?

Who’d stand at a bus stop like that on a cold morning when you can ride your bike to work?
Because I’m not going to spend my days cleaning up after you mob’s foul language?
you know johnboy – if you want to censor posts – why not just censor the bit you dont like instead of the whole thing.
FYI there is no shelter, seat, or waiting strip on the other side of the road.
I suppose if you were the height of a West Highland terrier, the long grass would be daunting.
I would imagine this bus stop is part of the “keep kilts in cars” campaign.
Brought about by the decreased sales of hair removal products in Canberra.
It is the “bush capital” I was thinking to myself as I was driving by yet another 60cm tree, growing out of the drains in the gutters near my house in Belconnen just the other day, while reminiscing about the “Paterson’s curse” (7,000 seeds per plant, viable for up to 7 years!) they had recently replaced.
Our suburbs contribution to the challenge of climate change was my second thought.
Then again it could be our local govt not giving a sh*t………but I doubt it. 🙂
Who’d want to ride in a car, when you could stand in the cold/heat for a bus which never turns up?
and GnT, thats not always true. My local bus stop to the town centers doesn’t have a seat or a shelter!! :
The bus stop on the other side of the road probably has a shelter or a seat. This is the one you get dropped off at when you’re coming home (if your trip is to and from a town centre).
The bus stop on Tharwa drive is similar, only for Summer.
Who’d want to ride in a car when they can stand in the dust on a hot scorching day waiting for a bus?
