ACT Policing is appealing for witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the 5-Star Supermarket in Theodore last night (Wednesday, April 11).
About 6.45 pm a man entered the 5-Star Supermarket located on Lawrence Wackett Crescent where he threatened the store attendant with a weapon before decamping with a sum of cash.
The man ran out on to Lawrence Wackett Crescent where he got into a waiting vehicle described as being a dark coloured, possibly blue or black, new model car similar to a Honda Accord. The car drove off along Lawrence Wackett Crescent towards Tharwa Drive.
The offender is described as having tanned skin, with a medium build and approximately 165cm to 170cm (5’5” to 5’ 7”) tall. He was wearing a black ‘hoodie’, with the hood pulled over his head and white gloves.
