There must be something wrong with me, I saw this and all I though was: Stalker.

If it were a relationship, a banner and trail of rose-petals could be placed inside the property, leading to the required room (kitchen to the basket of champagne and chocolates/bedroom/other).

Or, if wooing a bloke, a trail of gaming magazines toward the couch, leading to a stocked Esky beside and freshly charged controllers for the xbox/playstation laid out of the coffee table/footrest, with any words of affection required placed on a post-it mid-screen.

I find cats to be sufficiently affectionate, and presumably a lot less work.

I went to Uni in Melbourne, and saw something similar written across the side of a railway bridge (now covered in advertising billboards – yuk), although it sounds like something after an argument…
The words on it went something like:

“B.D, please don’t go. I have loved you forever….”

The bridge was a good 6 metres above the road, and there was nothing easy about getting access to it, let alone having anything to hold onto while using a spray can.

It made quite a strong impression on me the first time I saw it; just how much was going on, that someone needed to go to that much effort to get someone else’s attention? What was the story behind it?
And how did they know that the person in question would drive down that particular road?…

All sorts of variations on the theme ran through my head. A doctor, being called upon to fly overseas and to work in the middle of an epidemic….a person, either gender, racked with pain at the idea of the person leaving after University to go back home, because the target of the message thought there was nothing left for them in Melbourne (if they only knew!)….and so on…

All other variations welcome…what do you think? 😀
